PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single sliding door allowing the clearance between its mullion and door body to be adjusted to the appropriate size to provide the clearance that is satisfactory in terms of design. SOLUTION: The single sliding door includes a door body 2 which slides to overlap a buttress 1 at the front side during opening movement, and a mullion 3 disposed at the open side end of the buttress 1. A filler member 4 which is free to move back and forth in a direction roughly perpendicular to the surface of the door body 2 is provided to extend approximately the overall length of the front end portion of the mullion 3 along the vertical direction.
