PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high durability photoreceptor free of the rise of residual potential or the occurrence of an abnormal image such as a blurred image even in repetitive use and stably giving an image of high image quality over a long period of time, to provide an electrophotographic method using the photoreceptor in which the exchange of the photoreceptor is not necessary, high-speed printing or the downsizing of a device due to the reduced diameter of the photoreceptor are attained and an image of high image quality is stably obtained even in repetitive use and to provide an electrophotographic device and a process cartridge for the device. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic photoreceptor obtained by successively forming at least a photosensitive layer and a filler-containing protective layer on an electrically conductive substrate, an organic sulfur compound is contained in the photosensitive layer and a compound having both a hindered amine structure and a hindered phenol structure is contained in the protective layer.
