PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the safety of a battery device and prevent increase in secondary damage caused by a battery by preventing the spread of the damage caused by the battery in a fire from the outside. SOLUTION: This battery device has one or a plurality of batteries equipped with a safety valve, a load circuit, and a temperature sensor on the inside of a battery housing means, and when the temperature sensor detects the previously set temperature of the outer surface or the inner atmosphere of the battery housing means, the battery is connected to the load circuit and discharged to a capacity of a specified ratio of the reference capacity or lower.
