PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric rotation detector which is to be fitted to a hub of a two-wheeled vehicle and capable of suppressing the detection noise even in a severe oscillating status. SOLUTION: This rotation detector A comprises a housing 1 having a cylindrical passing part 1a through which an axle 11 is to be passed, a rotating body 5 having a cylindrical part 5a through which the passing part 1a is to be passed, and rotated in a synchronous manner with a wheel fitted to the axle 11, and a rotation detection part 3 for detecting the rotation of the rotating body 5. A spacer 4 which is an elastic member capable of elastically urging the rotating body 5 in the direction in which the passing part 1a is passed through the cylindrical part 5a is disposed between a bottom surface 1g of the housing 1 having the passing part 1a and the rotating body 5.
