In a case where, at a reverse of the automatic transmission, the vehicle speed is smaller than the predetermined set value and within the predetermined set engine speed region, when the speed ratio calculated by the ratio between the input shaft of the automatic transmission and the engine speed is smaller than the predetermined set value, the control means is provided, which carries out delay control by the ignition timing amount in accordance with the speed ratio.
