PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic recording medium, wherein the swelling of a magnetic recording part is eliminated, and the edge of a transferred recording part is beautiful. SOLUTION: On one surface of a substrate, a beltlike recess surrounded with the wall of the substrate for four sides is formed and, in the recess, a magnetic recording part is formed to have a depth at least equal to that of the recess. The formations of the recess and the magnetic recording part are carried out by ultrasonic wave vibration and a magnetic transfer tape. |
