PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin covered wire capable of retaining its shape even in a hot atmosphere while keeping various characteristics required for an automobile-use wire without generating a harmful halogen gas in burning. SOLUTION: This covered wire is an insulated wire covered with an inner layer formed of a polyolefine resin composition and an outer layer formed of a polyamide resin. The polyolefine resin composition contains 30-91 mass parts of a propylene polymer, 4-60 mass parts of an ethylene copolymer containing oxygen in molecules, 1-30 mass parts of polyolefine modified by 0.1-10 mass% of an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative, 4-50 mass parts of a styrene elastomer or a styrene elastomer modified by 0.1-10 mass% of an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative (the total of the four constituents is 100 mass parts), and 30-250 mass parts of a metal hydroxide in the total 100 mass parts of the four constituents. |
