PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card utilization propriety deciding method by which the illegal use of a card is more surely discriminated on the basis of a physical ground in an on-line card transaction utilizing a card transaction terminal device, and a card transaction system using the method. SOLUTION: This card transaction system in which the card transaction can be performed on-line by connecting the card transaction terminal device to a card authentication host through a network and a communication company host for managing the present position information of a radio type portable terminal device is further connected through the network, has a function for, when a card transaction request is received, acquiring card utilization place information at that time of the reception on the basis of data transmitted from the card transaction terminal device, a function for specifying the radio type portable terminal device held by the legal user of a card on the basis of card information transmitted from the card transaction terminal device and acquiring the present position information of the radio type portable terminal device through the communication company host, and a function for deciding the propriety of the card utilization on the basis of the card utilization place information and the present position information of the audio type portable terminal device which are acquired. |
