PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practicable transmission system capable of transmission, what was impossible so far, even for a video signal of a low cost camera and a black and white camera by reducing a frame rate for a video signal higher than a specified frequency and preventing hung-up of the receiver. SOLUTION: In an image photograph system of transmission by compressing video signal, at least one frame-signal of each prescribed frame is dropped from the video signal on the transmission side when a video signal, in which a pixel rate frequency of a compressed video signal is higher than a regulated frequency, is subjected to compressed transmitting. The frame rate is decreased by a given rate, and compression transmission is carried out. Then, receiver's buffer comes not to overflow to a video input signal higher than a regulated frequency. It is possible to transmit a video input signal out of a regular frequency. |
