<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect targets at an improved target detection rate while suppressing a false alarm rate. SOLUTION: This radar device is provided with a transmitter outputting transmission signals, an antenna receiving the reflected waves for the transmission signals, and a receiver receiving and processing the reflected waves received by the antenna, a threshold detecting means accepting the reception signals received and processed by the receiver and detecting a reception signal exceeding a set threshold value, and a threshold control means controlling the threshold value of the threshold detecting means according to the elapsed time after the transmission of the transmission signal so that the threshold value at the transmission of the transmission signal is made higher than a reference value and the threshold value is reduced from the reference value when the prescribed time elapses after the transmission of the transmission signal.</p> |
