PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document managing method which enables users of multiple terminal devices connected via a network to efficiently edit and update documents over discussion and manage the update details of the document, and a document managing device using the method. SOLUTION: The editing contents of a document to be edited which is inputted from a terminal device connected to the network and selected out of documents shared via the network and a sentence of a comment on the editing contents made to correspond to the editing contents are received and a new updated document is generated by updating the object document to be edited according to the editing contents; and the update contents of the object document to be edited are extracted by comparing the object documents to be edited before and after the update, stored as a history regarding the update of the object document to be edited while at least being made to correspond to the comment sentence, and displayed on the terminal device of a request source at a request from the user together with the comment sentence. |
