PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-reliability power supply system which immediately detects malfunction in DC power units, if a certain DC power unit malfunctions while the output of its system is normal, excludes only the DC power unit immediately from the operation of the whole of the system, and performs normal operation with the remaining normal DC power units, in the DC power supply system composed of a plurality of parallel-connected DC power units to be uniform-load-controlled. SOLUTION: The DC power units 3, 4, 5, and so on are composed of arithmetic circuits 20 for computing maximum values, deviation detectors 21, first and second comparators 30, 40, and circuit-breakers 8 for interrupting AC inputs to the DC power units by the outputs detected by individual comparators. When a certain DC power unit malfunctions, the malfunction is detected by its deviation detector 21 and its first and second comparators 30, 40, and its circuit- breaker 8 is interrupted by an interrup control circuit 51. As a result, operation of the DC power unit is stopped, and the unit is detached from the operation of the system. The remaining DC power units are kept normal, and normal operation of the power supply system is continued. |
