PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To settle a problem that the presence or absence of toner in the toner cartridge cannot be recognized in the case of simultaneously replacing a developing device and the toner cartridge. SOLUTION: By this invention, the presence or absence of the toner in the toner cartridge is recognized by the different method in the case when the toner cartridge is replaced without replacing the developing device and when the developing device and the toner cartridge is respectively replaced at the same time. |
