PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk player simplified and made compact in structure to permit inexpensive manufacturing, and into which a disk recording medium is inserted through a slot while it is held in a longitudinal direction. SOLUTION: In the clamp holder member 104 of a disk loading operation mechanism part 12, a clamper 112 to fixedly set a disk on the turntable of a player is rotatable fixed so as to be moved by a specified distance in a rotary axial direction. A pressing member 120 formed in a button shape toward the outside is extended to one part around a relief recess 150 notched to house the clamper 112 in a substrate 144 fixed to a device main body, and the clamper 112 is prevented from being excessively protruded from the clamper holder member 104 set in an initial state before the loading operation mechanism part 12 performs its loading operation.
