SILVER SYSTEM AND METHOD USING TELEPHONE OFFICE LINE

PURPOSE: A silver system and method using a telephone office line is provided to conveniently communicate with old people living alone by confirming the conditions of activities of the people using an existing central office line at all times, and by promptly dealing with the emergency. CONSTITUTION: A call signal received through a central office line is received from an arbitrary user(s1). A ring signal is detected from a reception sensing unit(s2). It is confirmed whether the time required for detecting the ring signal exceeds the set time(s3). In case that the time required doesn't exceed the time, a call is connected in a general call mode state(s4). In case that the time required exceeds the time, the call is connected in an automatic call mode(s9). In case that a loop circuit is composed of a trans unit(s10), a dial signal inputted from the line is received to a receiver unit(s11). The signal is converted into all sorts of BCD(Binary Code Decimal) codes(s12). The BCD codes converted are inputted to a control unit. The control unit generates control signals and operates an amplification unit(s13). The user talks to a silver system user on the telephone in a hands-free mode(s14). A sensing unit is installed outside of the silver system. A sensing signal is received from the sensing unit(s5). It is confirmed whether the sensing signal is received within determined time(s6). In case that the sensing signal isn't received, a telephone number stored in a special memory unit is converted into a BCD code(s7). The code converted is converted into a DTMF signal(s8).
