PURPOSE: A rod guide of a shock absorber is provided to reinforce the function of water leakage protecting and sealing by supplementing oil seal to a rod guide. CONSTITUTION: A shock absorber(100) is equipped with a hollow outer pipe(110), a hollow inner pipe(120) installed in the outer pipe, a piston valve(131) sliding to the inner side of the inner pipe, a piston rod(130) having an end coupled to the piston valve and the other end extended to the outside of the outer pipe, and a rod guide(140) guiding movement of the piston rod. The rod guide of a shock absorber is equipped with a guide bush(141) guiding the piston rod and oil seal(144) including a protruded face(142) elastically contacted with the peripheral face of the piston rod and a washer(143), reinforcing the sealing function, inserted in the lower surface. Therefore oil leakage protecting function and seal function are reinforced and the function of the shock absorber is improved.
