PURPOSE: An apparatus for guiding a strip in a coiler is provided which prevents distortion of the front part or coiling defects when initially coiling the strip by guiding the strip to a mandrel of the coiler. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for guiding a strip in a coiler comprises a strip guiding part comprising a straight conveyor which is positioned between a deflector roll(100) and a mandrel(110) at the rear of a transfer table so as to guide the strip(150), a curved surface conveyor which is continuously installed at the lower part of the straight conveyor and closely adhered onto the outer circumferential surface of the mandrel(110) so as to guide the strip(150) along the outer circumferential surface of the mandrel(110), and driving cylinders(30,31) which are installed at the bottom of the straight conveyor and the curved surface conveyor so as to move the straight conveyor and the curved surface conveyor to a working position if it is necessary; and a strip adsorption part consisting of an air blower(40) for sucking and discharging air, branched pipes(43,44) the front of one side of which is divided into two pipes so that the branched pipes(43,44) are connected to an air inlet(41) and an air outlet(42) of the air blower(40) respectively, flexural pipes(45,46) which are connected to the front of the other side of the branched pipes(43,44) and connected to the conveyor through the side surface of frames(10,20) so that the flexural pipes(45,46) can be moved into the conveyor, and adsorption holes(49) which are formed on solenoid valves(47,48) and conveyor belts(13,21) that are installed at connection parts of the air inlet(41) and the air outlet(42) of the branched pipes(43,44) respectively.
