PURPOSE: A heat gasket gas leakage detection apparatus is provided to reduce cost and development period for head gasket by recognizing combustion gas leakage in a rapid and accurate manner, while preventing operating fault of engine. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a main body(10) for separating the combustion gas and water coolant emitted through a transparent hose(8) by opening a pressure type cap(5) arranged in a heat exchanger, and cooling the moisture contained in the combustion gas; a back flow prevention valve(20) arranged underneath the main body, and which discharges the water coolant emitted together with the combustion gas from the heat exchanger and prevents external air from being introduced into the main body so as to prevent erroneous operation of sensor caused due to the exhaust gas existing in the testing room; a sensor unit(30) arranged at an end of the main body, and which senses components of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide in the combustion gas separated from an air; and a small fan(40) for blowing the combustion gas emitted from the main body toward the sensor unit, and preventing external air from being entering the main body.
