<p>A pallet batten or constructional element composition, comprising fine wood waste, cement, plaster, lime, water and silica, is new. A composition, for making pallet battens or constructional elements, comprises (by vol.) 3-15 parts fine wood waste, 1-2 parts cement, 1-2 parts plaster, 1-2 parts lime, 0.5-5 parts water and 1-10% silica. Independent claims are also included for the following: (i) battens made by molding the above mixture, in which the wood waste content is 3-10 vol. parts; and (ii) constructional elements made by molding the above mixture, in which the wood waste content is 10-15 vol. parts.</p> |
