PURPOSE: An auxiliary tool for a lathe is provided to easily and effectively carry out a centering work, a tapping work, and a boring work by installing the auxiliary tool on the lathe. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary tool for a lathe comprises a supporting bracket(110) fixedly installed at a transverse conveying bar(32) of the lathe. A rotating plate(120) is rotatably coupled to a locking handle(130). A plurality of tool coupling arms(121a,121b,121c) are extended from the rotating plate(120). A plurality of tool coupling devices are provided at tool coupling arms(121a,121b,121c), respectively. The tool coupling device includes a drill chuck(122a), a center drill holder(122b) and a boring bar holder(122c), so that the centering work, the tapping work, and the boring work can be effectively performed.
