PURPOSE: A device for reproducing media and the storing method for the media are provided to store desired data block while reproducing or repetitively reproducing the data block, to reproduce only the stored data block afterwards. CONSTITUTION: A main memory(5) stores data divided into many data blocks. A user interface(1) has many selection buttons, to allow a user to select data reproducing. A synchronizing program(7) synchronizes various types data with each other. A sub memory(3) stores description of setting a repetitive reproducing block according to a data reproducing time and information on the selected data block. A controller(10) stores information on the data block selected by the user during data reproducing or repetitive reproducing in the sub memory. The main memory stores audio data such as music or voice, and video data including motion picture such as images, graphics and characters.
