<p>A filtering apparatus of T-shaped configuration includes a vertically extending filter element receiving tube and a horizontally extending outlet conduit portion. A removable tubular filtering element having a flexible seal surrounding the outer surface of the filter element at a lower end is engagable with an inner surface of the filter element receiving tube. A stationary filter element is disposed at a juncture of the outlet conduit with a central opening in the vertically extending filter element receiving tube wherein the flexible seal of the filter engages with and cleans the particulates from the stationary filter element upon insertion and removal of the tubular filtering element from the filter element receiving portion.</p> |
