PURPOSE: An apparatus for sensing locking status of door is provided to sense a locking status of a door by an inductive current which is changed according to a closed degree of the door. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic bar(12) is installed at one side of a door. A sensor(20) is installed at a car body side. The sensor(20) detects a physical amount which is changed when the door is closed. The sensor(20) includes a receiving portion(20a) and a magnetic flux coil(20b). The receiving portion(20a) receives a magnet bar(12) therein. The magnetic flux coil(20b) is wound in the receiving portion(20a). The sensor(20) generates an induction current of a different amplitude according to a moving speed and an insertion distance of the magnetic bar(12). A control unit(24) is connected to the sensor(20). The control unit(24) judges a locking status of the door when the door is closed. A warning display device(26) is connected to the control unit(24).
