A media dispenser comprising a base plate 6 in which a media cassette 2 containing media and a rejection box 4 for collecting inferior media are loaded. The dispenser has a media pickup part 8 for discharging the media stored in the media cassette 2 sheet by sheet, a media feeding part for feeding the media discharged through the media pickup part 8 and a media discharge part 12 for discharging the fed media through the media feeding part to outside. A driving means 24 such as a motor for generating a driving force is installed at a side of the base plate 6. The dispenser has a power transmitting means for transmitting the driving force to the media pickup part 8, the media feeding part and the media discharge part 12. A clutch is installed at one side of the media pickup part 8 for controlling the driving force transmitted to the media pick up part 8 from the power transmitting part. The dispenser also has a media rejection means for collecting rejected media from the media fed to the media feeding part. |
