PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light and compact nailer capable of restricting the air discharge noise by providing an expansion chamber, a throttle hole and a muffler in a handle part. SOLUTION: A large capacity of an expansion chamber 10 is formed by a handle 18 and an inner space of a handle cap 50 fitted to a rear end of the handle 18, and the expansion chamber 10 is divided into a first expansion chamber 21 and a second expansion chamber 23 by a partition wall 22, and the compressed air inside of a cylinder 5, a head valve chamber 19 and a trigger valve 3 is discharged through the expansion chamber 10.
