PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable large output and high-speed press working by a simple structure. SOLUTION: A ram 15 connected to a striker 81 for driving a punch is vertically movably provided. A pair of first and second crank block 55, 59, which is equipped with a pressing part for pressing down the upper end of the ram 15, is provided. The pair of crank blocks 55, 59 is, in a vertically rotatable manner, supported by shafts at the base-end parts which are symmetrically positioned in a nearly horizontal direction to the center of the ram 15. A first link bar 49 is rotatably connected to the other end of the crank block 55, and a second link bar 51 is rotatably connected to the other end of the crank block 59. Each other end of the first and second link bar 49, 51 is moved forward/ backward in the same direction by a forward/backward driving device 35. In one stroke of the driving device 35, the first and second crank block 55, 59 are symmetrically rotated with a phase difference so that the ram 15 is vertically moved 2 times at high speed.
