PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely remove and reutilize silicone remaining and sticking in/to a spent drum can used for conveyance safekeeping of silicone. SOLUTION: The method for regenerating a spent drum can for a silicone is comprised of pulling-out (S1) of a detergent after the detergent is poured into the spent drum can for the silicone and is allowed to stand, cleaning (S2) by blowing the detergent into the drum can, drying (S3) by blowing hot air into the drum can after washing, once peeling (S4) of coating on the outer surface of the drum can and coating (S5) newly applied on the outer surface of the drum can.
