PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projecting and retracting type writing instrument capable of projecting and retracting a lead, having a simple constitution, a low manufacturing cost, excellent durability, a little constituting components to be rubbed and flexible operating feeling. SOLUTION: The projecting and retracting type wiring instrument comprises a hollow cylindrical body (1) released at a distal end, a drive piece (4) coupled to an intermediate part in the body (1) impossible to relatively rotate, a hollow cylindrical guide (2) introduced into the distal end of the body (1) and relatively rotatably coupled to the body, and a moving bar (3) screw-engaged with the piece (4) in a state in which a lead (5) is coupled to its distal end, mounted in the guide (2) and movably engaged in a longitudinal direction in a non- rotatable cylindrical hole (2a) of the rear end of the guide and projecting the lead (5) from or retracting the lead (5) in the distal end of the guide, while moving in the longitudinal direction by the piece (4) rotated integrally with the body (1). The writing instrument of this constitution has simple constitution and operating structure, low manufacturing cost, long durable lifetime, a little rubbing components and flexible operating feeling. |
