PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for bonding elastomeric materials by using a polychloroprenene based aqueous adhesive which has hardly any problem in the aspects of safety and hygiene, and environment to be caused when the conventional solvent primer and solvent type adhesive are used, and can firmly bond at least to the same extent as by the conventional solvent type adhesive, and a bonded structure. SOLUTION: The method for bonding a vulcanized elastomeric material to an adherend of the same or different type comprises a step of coating a primer containing a polychloroprene based latex and having a solid content of 15-65 mass% on the surface of the elastomeric material and a step of coating an aqueous adhesive containing a polycholoroprene based latex as the essential component on the primer-coated surface. The bonded structure is obtained by the above method.
