PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain at a low cost an oil and fat composition exhibiting an enhanced and more effective action by plant sterols of lowering blood cholesterol levels. SOLUTION: This oil and fat composition comprises the following components (A)-(C), and unsaturated fatty acids account for 50-97 wt.% of constituent fatty acids of the components (B) and (C): (A) 12-60 wt.% of a plant sterol, (B) 15-87 wt.% of a monoglyceride, (C) 0.5-55 wt.% of a diglyceride and/or a triglyceride. |
