PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip with improved mounting property by a welt provided with a guide part capable of securely guiding even in case of a thick car body flange. SOLUTION: In this weather strip 1 in which the welt 2 having a U-shaped cross section to be held on the car body flange F by applying a double coated adhesive tape 4 on an outdoor side outer wall 2a of it, the guide part 5 is provided on an end of an indoor side inner wall 2b of the welt 2 to be extended with inclination toward the depth and the outdoor side.
