IMAGING UNIT FOR ENDOSCOPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging unit for endoscope in which an image pickup optical system and an imaging device are airtightly sealed and also the positions of the optical system and the device are adjusted from the outer side of the airtight imaging unit with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: The imaging unit 10 is provided with an imaging device unit 12 having a CCD 11 and an image pickup optical unit 14 having the image pickup optical system 13 by which an endoscope image is formed on the imaging surface of the CCD 11. The image pickup optical unit 14 is provided with a metallic image pickup optical frame 15, and a cover glass 17 is joined in an airtight state to the endoscope side of the optical frame 15. The imaging device unit 12 is provided with a tubular and metallic imaging device frame 21, and a hermetic connector 23 is joined in an airtight state to the base end side of the frame 21a. The image pickup optical unit 14 and the imaging device unit 12 are interconnected and fixed by a tube 31. The tube 31 is provided with freely deformable bellows having a prescribed elastic force through the use of a thin plate member such as a stainless material having corrosion resistance to gas and non-permeable of gas.
