<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for an engine with an automatic transmission capable of fulfilling a driving force demanded by a driver and controlling a target driving force at an optimum operation point even in a non-direct connection condition in which an input clutch is not engaged. SOLUTION: This controller is provided with a means 201 computing a target driving force Po, means computing the target number of engine revolutions Neo and target engine torque Teo according to a connection/disconnection condition of the input clutch, a means 210 computing a target intake quantity Qao giving the target engine torque, and a means 205 computing the target number of transmission input revolutions Nio for matching the number of CVT input revolutions with the target number of engine revolutions. The intake quantity adjusting part is controlled so that the intake quantity is matched with the target intake quantity, while a transmission rate is controlled so that the number of CVT input revolutions is matched with the target number of transmission input revolutions.</p> |
