PURPOSE: A magnetic particle type braking device is provided to emit the friction heat generated during the operation of the device to the outside in a short time for preventing the oxidation of the magnetic particles and precisely detect the heat generated in an operation part in a short time. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic particle type braking device includes an annular stator(1) incorporating a coil and a damper(5) supported by first to third brackets(3,4,8) and mounted centering a rotation shaft(12) together with a rotator(10), the rotation shaft coupled with the first bracket by bearings(15,16) and with the center of a cover(23) formed with a plurality of air apertures by a bearing(17) to freely rotate, the rotator integrally connected to the rotation shaft via a connection element(11), a rotation heat sink(13) fixed at a surface of the connection element and forming a plurality of protruded rotation plate blades(14) radially protruded from a side surface, a temperature switch(25) mounted in the proximity of the damper at a side of the second bracket, and magnetic particles(7) filled in a space formed between the inner peripheral surface of the damper and the outer peripheral surface of the rotator.
