Molten resin material is continuously extruded from a first extruding hole (102) extending in a width direction of a first extruding nozzle (101), and is passed through a second extruding nozzle (103) which is arranged a front surface of the first extruding nozzle (101) and has a second extruding hole (109) at a position corresponding to the first extruding hole (102). The second extruding hole (109) is a single extruding hole having a plurality of longitudinal rectangular openings (109b) arranged at the same pitch in the width direction, and a communicating section (109c) with which one end of the respective rectangular openings (109b) communicate, and the first extruding hole (102) is a single extruding hole having coupling-element-molding openings (102a) arranged corresponding to the rectangular openings (109b) and a base-member-molding opening (102c) corresponding to the communicating section (109c). Then, by relatively vibrating the first extruding nozzle (101) and second extruding nozzle (103) in the width direction so that the confronting extruding holes (102, 109) may mutually cross, a surface fastener is continuously molded, while individually molding the coupling element (12) having a coupling head portion projecting forward and backward in a molding direction from one end of a stem portion (13) standing on a surface of a sheet-like base member (11).
