COMPUTER DIAGNOSTICS PLAN IN DISTRIBUTED COMPUTER SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain determinations of computers under abnormality and of abnormal points in information transmitters with reliability and at high-speed in a distributed computer system. SOLUTION: In a computer diagnostics plan in distributed computer system, each computer comprises a means to transmit health check signals to each computer, a means to receive the signals transmitted from each computer, a means to monitor receptions of the signals from each computer at a predetermined period and to determine that the transmitters of their own computers are under abnormality when the signals are not in receptions, and to determine that the transmitters of transmit-origin computers are under abnormalities when the signals from some of computers can not be received, a means to add information of the transmitters generated from each computer to each signal and a means to determine that the transmitters are under abnormalities also at the computers when more than one computer determines that some computers are under abnormalities based on abnormal information of each transmitter added to the signals of all computers.
