PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which enhances convenience of blank data used for color calibration of imaged pictures. SOLUTION: In the imaging apparatus, each inputted image data is filed in an image filing part 106 to be recorded in a medium recording part 107, and also average data of every color component data to a part of the image data is recorded in an area difference from an area to record imaging data in each file. When desired image data is selected by a blank data image selecting part 109 by using a monitor to reproduce an to display the image data, the average data which is recorded in the same file, where the image data is recorded, is read out from a bland data reproducing part 110, and a control value of a white balance control part 114 is calculated by a calculating part 111 for white balance control value based on the read average data to set the control value by a setting part 112 for white balance control value, so that a white balance control is performed by using the set control value.
