SUBSTANCE: composite Savonius-type rotor designed for use in windmills and hydraulic motors has two composite blades made of separate boards mounted at small clearances between them. Novelty is that one of extreme end sections of each board is bent out into blade interior and is made in the form of wing with back facing external side relative to board and opposite end of board is overlapping relative to adjacent board to form contraction towards external side of blade.
