<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect easily a failure of a human detection device. SOLUTION: This human detection device composed of plural sensors installed at prescribed intervals along the passing direction of a ticket examination passage of an automatic ticket barrier comprises a memory means for storing a detection pattern used as the reference for the plural sensors when the plural sensors are normal and a user passes the ticket examination passage, a generation means for generating the detection patterns of the plural sensors when the plural sensors detect the user, and a determination means for determining the failure state of the plural sensors by comparing the generated detection patterns with the stored reference detection pattern.</p> |
