PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and efficiently record signals. SOLUTION: The record start block position Ptr-1 of the signal WS-1 of a first channel is allocated from the top side of a record region, and the last block of an unrecorded region is set as the record end block position EOF-1. The record start block position Ptr-2 of the signal WS-2 of a second channel is allocated from the tail side of the record region, and the last block of the unrecorded region is set as the record end block position EOF-2. When the signal is recorded on one block, the position of the block where the signal is to be recorded next is reported to the other channel, and signal recording is continued. When the position of the block where the signal is to be recorded is reported from the other channel, the record end block position is updated so as not to record the signal on this block. A recording operation is completed when no unrecorded block is left.
