ELECTRONIC COMMERCE SYSTEM AND METHOD

Disclosed is an electronic commerce system and method. A terminal with an attachable settlement card module, a settlement and authentication demand system, a bank system and a settlement system are connected via a network. When a product buying request is input by the wireless communication terminal with a settlement card module, the settlement system provides the terminal with information on the settlement and authentication demand system. Generationof access to the settlement and authentication demand system connects the terminal to the settlement and authentication demand system to make a purchase, and when an encoded number for requestingsettlement for the product purchased is transmitted by the terminal, the settlement system decodes the encoded number and authenticates a corresponding buyer. After the authentication, a settlement request on the product is provided to the bank system so that the settlement and authentication demand system settles for the product purchase.
