PASTE FILLING METHOD AND DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that filling dispersion increases when the paste not containing a thickener or a binder is filled in a metal porous material having pores because a paste is filtered while leaving an active material powder only on the surface thereof and a solvent only penetrates therein. SOLUTION: The paste 2 is discharged from both surface and reverse sides of the metal porous material 99 through a pair of opposed nozzles 100 at the same time for application to the metal porous material 99. While a pair of roll smoothers 7 located in opposition to the both surface and reverse sides of the metal porous material 99 are rotated in the opposite direction to the travelling direction of the metal porous material 99, the paste applied to the metal porous material 99 is rubbed and filled in the metal porous material 99 at its both sides at the same time.
