SUBSTANCE: proposed Savonius-type rotor has two blades each having central part with front thickened edge and flat plate joined with rear edge of cylindrical part of blade along tangential line with respect to it. Front edge is thickened in the form of wing-type profile with sucking surface on external side of blade and arranged on loose end of flat plate is segment-type aerohydrodynamic profile with back facing center of rotor motion.
