PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for animating accurately features of a face, and converting an expression of the face. SOLUTION: Plural light sources 204, 206 for capturing simultaneously structural data such as a range, a depth or the like, and a reflectance characteristic such as a mirror reflection suppression reflectance characteristic of the face or the like, are provided in this system 208. The captured information is used for various processing, namely, various animation processing of the face including expression recognition, expression conversion or the like. |
