PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method with which a medical supply supplier manages a medical implements supplied to a medical institution by utilizing a communication network between the medical institution and the supplier of the medical device used by the medical institution. SOLUTION: This management system has a step, in which shipped medical supply is managed by a database using a product serial code; a step in which the medical device supplier receives the product serial code of the medical device, which is inputted in performing processing in the medical institution and is used for the processing from a local network in the medical institution via the Internet or a dedicated communication line; a step for confirming whether the received product serial code is registered in the database, and a step in which at least one of a date when the medical device is used, its place of use and its usage form is recorded in the database, while being made to be associated with the product serial code. |
