medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves detecting anatomic changes as a complex of eye axis length, anterior chamber depth, ciliary body diameter, Schlemm's canal position, lens thickness and changed iris stroma in ciliary zone and iridolenticular diaphragm mobility. The collected data are compared to data taken from eyes in the cases when lens swelling is not combined with intraocular pressure. Eye length being found to be less than normal one, smaller anterior chamber, reduced size of ciliary body ring, dorsal Schlemm's canal position and relatively thick lens, dystrophic changes of iris stroma and its low rigidity and increased iridolenticular diaphragm mobility being observed, increased ophthalmic tonus accompanied with phacomorphous glaucoma is diagnosed. EFFECT: high accuracy in detecting increased ophthalmic tonus. 1 tbl
