PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dynamically generate a document in an arbitrary layout while utilizing the data of respective information sources in a distributed information source environment, in which plural information sources exist. SOLUTION: A contents acquisition request for dynamic document generation is transmitted from a client terminal 101 to a distributed information source managing server 102, the request is analyzed by a request analyzing means 110 of the distributed information source managing server 102, and it is decided how retrieval condition is to be assigned to each of plural existent information sources. Then, retrieval is requested by a retrieval requesting means 111 by really distributing the analyzed retrieval request to each of information sources, contents are acquired and on the basis of the acquired contents and layout information stored in a layout information storage means 106, a document generating means 107 of the client terminal 101 generates the document. |
