PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of a pressure-contact terminal of an electric wire and to miniaturize an electrical contact portion and an electric wire caulking portion. SOLUTION: In this pressure-contact terminal 1 provided integrally with an electrical contact portion 2 on one side for a terminal of a meting terminal, and with at least an electric wire pressure-contact portion 3 on the other side, the electric wire pressure- contact portion 3 is formed to be thicker than the electrical contact portion 2. The electrical contact portion 2 comprises a thin bottom plate portion, a thin circumferential wall 5 formed integrally with the bottom plate portion, and a thin elastic contact piece located in the circumferential wall and formed integrally with the bottom plate portion. The electric wire pressure-contact portion 3 comprises a thick-bottom plate portion, thick-side plate portions 12 erected on both side of the bottom plate portion, and thick pressure-contact pieces 17, 18 arranged protrusively and inwardly from window portions 16 of both side plate portions. A thin electric wire caulking portion 4 is integrally formed with on the other side of the thick electric wire pressure-contact portion 3. An electric wire caulking portion 4 comprises a thin bottom plate portion 26, and thin caulking pieces 27 erected on both sides of the bottom plate portion.
