GENE-DIGESTING GENE AND ENZYME HAVING VACCINE-LIKE EFFECT

Exogenous gene-digesting drugs which contain a fundamental DNA having the base sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1 as a constituent and, when administered to living bodies, being capable of inducing the digestion of the following exogenous genes: (1) single-stranded and double-stranded DNAs, (2) single-stranded RNAs, (3) single-stranded DNA-RNA hybrids, (4) mRNAs and (5) cDNAs; and a gene-digesting enzyme which comprises a protein encoded by the above-described fundamental DNA or its derivative and having an effect of digesting the exogenous genes as described above.
