<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect to a joint without causing resistance to a gaseous flow passage in a corrugated tube 4 in the flexible pipe joint of constitution, which comprises a joint body 1 accommodating a telescopic annular retainer 3 and a tightening barrel 2 screwed from its backward direction, which make it possible to push the tip of the corrugated tube 4 against a tube receiving face 15 concentric to the gaseous passage 18 in the joint body 1 in a closely contacted condition while the retainer 3 fits over the corrugated tube 4 by tightening of the tightening barrel 2. SOLUTION: The inside diameter of the gaseous passage 18 approximately conforms to an inside diameter of trough part 43 of the corrugated tube 4, the front end of the retainer 3 comprises an annular pushing part 33 fitting into the bottom part 43 and pushing its forward crest part 42 forwardly, a guide barrel 34 outwardly, forwardly and concentrically projecting and externally abutting the top part of the squashed crest part 43 between the pushing part 33 and a tube receiving face 15, and is provided with a retainer accommodated chamber 17 which retains the retainer 3 in condition preventing expanding and opening by receiving the guide barrel 34 from a backward direction in outside other than the tube receiving face 15.</p> |
